# Clover

> Run LoyaltyDog on Clover devices.

The LoyaltyDog Clover app turns any Clover Mini, Flex, or Station into a loyalty terminal.

## What it does

* Scans LoyaltyDog wallet passes at checkout.
* Awards points based on the order total.
* Looks up customer profiles by phone, email, or pass barcode.
* Redeems LoyaltyDog gift cards as a tender.

## Install

1. From the Clover App Market on your merchant dashboard, install **LoyaltyDog**.
2. Approve the requested permissions.
3. Open the app on the Clover device and sign in with your LoyaltyDog credentials.
4. Select the LoyaltyDog program to use for this merchant.

## Configuration

| Setting                | Required | Description                                              |
| ---------------------- | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| Program ID             | Yes      | LoyaltyDog program that this Clover merchant rolls up to |
| Show points on receipt | No       | Print the customer's running point balance               |

## Troubleshooting

* **Pass scan fails** — Make sure the device has internet connectivity and the merchant is signed into the LoyaltyDog app.
* **No customer match** — The pass may belong to a different program; verify the program ID matches.
